Pamela Giustinelli is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Bocconi University. Her research focusses on modeling, measurement, empirical analysis, and policy implications of how individuals and groups make consequential economic decisions in the presence of partial information and "Knightian" uncertainty, especially within the family and human capital contexts.

Dirk Hovy is an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the department of marketing at Bocconi University. He holds a PhD from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, working as research assistant at the Information Sciences Institute. He works in Natural Language Processing (NLP), a subfield of artificial intelligence. His research focuses on computational social science. He is interested in integrating sociolinguistic knowledge into NLP models, and conversely, in using to large-scale statistics to model the interaction between people’s socio-demographic profile and their language use. He is also interested in ethics for data science and algorithmic fairness. News coverage of his work has been published (among others) by Washington Post, CNN, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Die Zeit, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), Die Welt, Neue Züricher Zeitung (NZZ), Venture Beat, AdWeek, Bloomberg, Fox News, and Spektrum der Wissenschaft.

Alexander Kentikelenis is a social scientist interested in political economy, international affairs, and global health and development. He is assistant professor of political economy and sociology at Bocconi University. His research focuses on the links between global processes, national responses, and local- or individual-level outcomes.

Eliana La Ferrara is the Fondazione Romeo ed Enrica Invernizzi Chair in Development Economics at Bocconi University. She received her PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 1999. Her research is in development economics, with a particular focus on ethnicity, social norms, institutions and the media.

Thomas Le Barbanchon is an associate professor in the department of economics at Bocconi University. His research interests focus on labor markets. His main contributions have been on the effects of hiring credits, of unemployment insurance, on the analysis of discrimination and of gender inequality in labor markets.

Letizia Mencarini is Full Professor of Demography at Bocconi University (at the Department of Management and Technology). Her research interests focus on family demography (life-course analysis, transition to adulthood, family formation and disruption, fertility) and its links with economic and subjective wellbeing, time use, gender diversity, and migration in a policy and welfare state perspective; machine learning e big data for population studies.

Greta Nasi is Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University. She is also Director of the Master of Science in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance, jointly offered by Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano. Since 2017 she serves as Director of Research for Government at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Her main research interests are in the field of innovation in the public sector, service design and city competitiveness, digital transformation and cyber risk. She published her works in both domestic and international journals and collaborates with multiple international organisations and governments.

Marco Percoco is the Director of GREEN (Centre for research in Geography, Resources, Environment, Energy and Networks) at Bocconi University and an Associate Professor of Applied Economics in the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the same university. His main research interests are in the evaluation of regional and sustainable transport policies, themes on which he has extensively published in dozens of academic journals. Among other institutional activities, Marco has recently served as an independent scientific advisor for the evaluation of railways projects for the Ethiopian Government and as the scientific coordinator on the National Program for Transport and Infrastructure 2014-2020 for the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation (consisting in the allocation of about 800 million euros for transport infrastructure in Southern Italy). He is also member of the scientific committee of the resilience assessment commission of the City of Milan.
