He is a Full Professor of Economic History at Bocconi University, Department of Institutional Analysis and Public Management. His field of specialization is Business History.He is interested in different topics, among which family capitalism, international business and corporate governance in a historical and comparative perspective. This is why he is affiliated with the Department of Management, and a member of EntER, the Research Center on Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship. He is part of the European Business History Association, in which he has served as member of the Council since 2002.

Catherine is a Professor of Political Science at Bocconi University. Her work can be broadly situated in the areas political behaviour, political economy and EU politics, and has appeared in leading political science journals, such as the American Political Science Review and Annual Review of Political Science. Catherine is currently working on a research project funded through the European Research Council that examines how economic hardship affects support for socially conservative political agendas.

Chiara joined the Covid Crisis Lab and Dondena research centre as a full time postdoctoral scientist after completing her PhD at the University of Cambridge and a one-year project at Public Health England. Her research interests focus on statistical models to make inference from longitudinal observational health data, mostly collected through surveillance systems. As a PhD student, she spent 4 years at the MRC Biostatistics Unit, investigating time-series methods to quantify the burden of bacterial respiratory infections secondary to influenza, in seasonal and pandemic settings, from surveillance data. At Public Health England, she worked jointly with the Statistics unit and the HIV department, using counterfactual methods to quantify the impact of interventions: she estimated the excess mortality due to COVID-19 and the effectiveness of HIV prophylaxis within the PrEP Impact trial. Prior to starting her PhD, Chiara completed a degree in Statistics and a Master's degree in Biostatistics at the University of Milano-Bicocca, and did her Master’s thesis at the Karolinska Institute.

Daniele Durante is an Assistant Professor in the department of Decision Science.

Carlo Favero is Deutsche Bank Chair in Quantitative Finance and Asset Pricing at Bocconi University and a member of BIDSA’s Scientific Committee. His research interests include econometric modelling of bond and stock prices, applied econometrics, monetary and fiscal policy and time-series models for macroeconomics and finance.

Vincenzo Galasso is Professor of economics at Bocconi University focusing on political economics, political economy.

Simone Ghislandi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, Bocconi University. He holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University, an MPhil and a DPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford. He is affiliate at CERGAS and also at the Carlo F. Dondena Centre for Research on Social Dynamics and Public Policy. Simone Ghislandi's research focuses on issues related to the ex-ante and ex-post analysis of health policies and interventions and on the socioeconomics of health and well-being. On these topics, he has published in a variety of international economics, health policy and public health journals.
