Angelo holds a Master's Degree in Law from Università degli Studi di Milano and a MA in International Relations from University of Essex. Prior his arrival to Bocconi, he has worked as project officer for a NGO in Uganda and as project management officer at Università Cattolica di Milano.

Luca Barbato is a final year BSc student in Economics and Finance (BIEF) and incoming MSc student in Economic and Social Sciences (ESS) at Bocconi University. His main interests lie in Macroeconomics and Labour economics. He has worked for the MixMi research project, aimed at estimating epidemiological patterns in the city of Milan, under the supervision of Prof. Alessia Melegaro.

Arnstein Aassve is Professor in Demography at Bocconi University. Research interests include institutional and cultural Demography, big data in historical perspective, NLP and sentiment analysis.

Francesco Granella is a PhD candidate in Public Policy & Administration at Bocconi University and a researcher at the RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economy and the Environment. His work focuses on the costs of environmental stressors such as temperature and air pollution.

Jérôme Adda is a Full Professor in the department of Economics. His research interests focus on health, health behavior and labor. His main contributions have been on the effect of public policies on health behavior, the links between income and health, the role of human capital on career choices over the life cycle. Many of his papers have been published in journals such as the JPE, the AER or the QJE as well as journals in other disciplines.

Guido Alfani is full professor at Bocconi University, Milan. His fields of interest include economic history and demography, with a focus on long-term dynamics.

Adriana Manna is a PhD student in Network Science at the Department of Network and Data Science, Central European University. Her research interests are related to the mechanisms governing the evolution over time and across settings of socio-demographic processes and human behaviours. She is also interested in data-driven, dynamic models for the spread of infectious diseases.

Massimo Anelli is an Assistant professor in the department of Social and Political Sciences. His research agenda focuses on Human Capital in several domains such as labor markets, migration, gender, fertility and voting. The common ground of his work is the use of original administrative data, derived from digitization of physical archives or from access to restricted social security data and government registries. His work focuses on the returns to higher education quality, the determinants of and the returns to choice of field of study, the effects of gender and foreign peer effects, the effects of emigration on political selection, voting, fertility and entrepreneurship, the effects of automation on voting and fertility.

Paula Rettl is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Social and Political Sciences. Her research interest lies at the intersection of international political economy and political behavior. Her current projects focus on how exogenous shocks (e.g., trade shocks, epidemics, and environmental disasters) impact the behavior of the mass public and political elites.
