Prof. Greta Nasi: "Re-designing municipal services after Covid-19 "


SHORT BIO

Prof. Greta Nasi is Associate Professor at the Department of Social and Political Sciences at Bocconi University.  She is also Director of the Master of Science in Cyber Risk Strategy and Governance, jointly offered by Bocconi University and Politecnico di Milano. Since 2017 she serves as Director of Research for Government at SDA Bocconi School of Management. Her main research interests are in the field of innovation in the public sector, service design and city competitiveness, digital transformation and cyber risk.  She published her works in both domestic and international journals and collaborates with multiple international organisations and governments.  

 

Prof. Arianna Vedaschi and Dr. Chiara Graziani: ”The Covid-19 Emergency in Western European Democracies: Trends and Issues" 

 

SHORT BIO

 

Prof. Arianna Vedaschi is Full Professor of Comparative Public Law at Bocconi University. Her research fields are emergency powers, counter-terrorism law, national security and human rights, on which she authored several articles and book chapters. She is the Coordinator of the Research Group on Constitutional Responses to Terrorism within the International Association of Constitutional Law. She is a member of the Scientific Board of “Comparative Covid Law”, a website focused on legal responses to Covid-19 worldwide, and of the Covid Crisis Lab at Bocconi University. She is the Secretary-General of the Italian Association of Comparative and European Public Law, vice-Director of the law review Diritto Pubblico Comparato ed Europeo. She has been a visiting professor in several prestigious universities and academic institutions in Europe, the United States and Latin America, among which the Trinity College in Dublin, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, the Fordham Law School in New York.

 

Dr. Chiara Graziani is a Research Fellow at the Excellence Center “Law and Pluralism” of the University of Milan-Bicocca as well as an Academic Fellow and Research Assistant at Bocconi University. She holds a Ph.D. in “Domestic, Comparative and European Constitutional Law” from the University of Genoa, Italy (2020) and a Combined Bachelor and Master of Science in Law from Bocconi University, Italy (2016). Her research interests lie in the fields of national security, counter-terrorism, human rights, the use of technology (including artificial intelligence) during emergency. She authored several articles, case notes, book chapters and blog posts on these issues. She is a co-convenor of the Research Group on Public Law Responses to Public Health Emergencies within the International Association of Constitutional Law. She spent visiting stays at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences, the University of Valencia, the European Court of Human Rights, the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg, the Trinity College Dublin in Ireland.
